The homemade pastries at Lodge Tower were a game-changer-totally drool-worthy! Plus, I found three gems nearby, Yama's sushi was fresh and fierce, and Pepi's Bar served up a vibe that's hard to beat.
While the room was snug, it could use a sprinkle of extra space for full freedom-thankfully, the dining nearby made up for it with bold flavors galore!

location, design of hotel and nice curtain-shades on windows. Fan and humidifier a wonderful touch.
My room was very small and ina noisy spot over the main entrance to the hotel and that next door.

Late August stay concerned us at first because our room had no ac, but sleeping in the cool, open window air was so refreshing!
The bathroom vanity was the lowest I've seen in years & I'm only 5' 2".

We liked the view from our room of the beautiful Vail Mountains as well as the lovely decor.
We were very disappointed that there was no air conditioning in the hotel rooms. When we inquired, after checking in and going up to our room, we were informed that they could bring us a fan. We had to stay two nights in 80 degree weather with windows open and only a fan as there would have been a cancellation fee at the full price of the two nights. It was not comfortable and we will not return anytime in the late Spring or summer months.

Everything was simply good. It was a comfortable and gorgeous hotel in a downtown area, close enough to Gondola 1, shops and restaurants, the city center and all the restaurants and shops.
